Westwood is blessed to have such an amazing group of young people. Our intention is to minister to your children as individuals and to help them grow in faith and spiritual maturity, ready to “Join God in His Work.” This type of transformation requires a partnership between God, parents, youth, and the youth leaders. Therefore it is of utmost importance that you as parents be involved in our youth ministry. Spiritual growth and life transformation require constant attention, so I encourage you to be active in your child’s spiritual life here at church as well as in the home.

Ways you can be involved in Westwood’s Youth Ministry:

*Attend youth activities

*Discuss with your child what he or she learned at YAC/Sunday School/Bible Study

*Encourage your child to have a daily devotional time, or have a family devotional time

*Volunteer to help teach or lead small group activities

*Host an event at your house

*Be a chaperone for trips/events

*Be a driver for trips/events

*Encourage your child to invite his or her friends to youth activities

*Sign up to bring refreshments
