PARTICIPATION
Handbells offer almost anyone with an opportunity to be musically involved with the church. Due to the unique nature of handbells you do not need to know how to read music to participate in a handbell choir. In fact, everything you need to know about music can be learned in 30 minutes. Conversely, accomplished musicians find the structured beat and interdependence on the other ringers a challenge to their traditional knowledge of playing a musical instrument. So handbells provide an enjoyable challenge to anyone who participates! All are welcome to join one of our handbell choirs (children, youth and adults).

REQUIREMENTS
We do not place age limits or musical limits on your participation. If you meet the following criteria we would love to see you for practice.

- First, you must be able to allow yourself to make a mistake. Learning a musical instrument takes time. Allow yourself the freedom to learn at your own pace.
- Second, you must be willing to learn and always strive for improvement. (Even if you already know music.)
- Third, you must respect the delicacy of the handbells and treat them properly.
