Westwood is delighted to have Caroline Allen as our Minister of Music and Worship. Caroline comes to Westwood with over 28 years of experience in music ministry and with formal training in piano, organ, and voice. On February 12,2006, the membership of Westwood Baptist Church voted to call Caroline Hart Allen as our Minister of Music and Worship.

Caroline accepted the call and began her work on March 1st. She will oversee the Music Ministry at Westwood and assist in the Worship Planning and Preparation.

Leading the Adult Choir and Ensemble and assisting with the Westwood Orchestra and Handbell Choirs offers her a chance to share the talents God has developed within her over the last almost 30 years in ministry. Children’s Choirs are dear to her heart, and she will assist the Children’s Choir workers as well. Caroline is excited about sharing her gifts of ministry with Westwood.

Caroline is married to Jimmy Allen, who is President of The Creative Image Photography/ Videography Studio. They have two married sons and their wives, James and Mandy Allen and Thomas and Ashley Allen.

Caroline is a native of Raleigh,NC. A graduate of Meredith College, she holds a Bachelor of Music Degree with Concentrations in Organ and Music Education. She is an Ordained Minister .
