Welcome To Westwood
Baptist Church

"Joining God In His Work"
Westwood Baptist Church is constantly seeking to join God in the work that He is doing. Our mission projects have taken us to Spain, Brazil, New York, Belize, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, East St. Louis, Georgia, Eastern and Western North Carolina, and to Mississippi. We are a church “on mission”.
We cherish Baptist freedom, we extend a warm welcome to all who enter our doors, we promote Bible Study, we encourage women in ministry, we have a great music program and youth ministry. Westwood loves children and provides a safe atmosphere in which they can be nourished in the Christian faith. We have an active senior adult ministry and worship is at the center of all that we do. Westwood is a church family that cares about the physical and spiritual needs of people.
If you are searching for a church home, we invite you to explore our web-site,
sit in on one of our Sunday School classes and participate in our worship
services and prayer meetings. Our blended worship provides spiritual nourishment
for people of all ages and you will not find a more friendly church. At Westwood
you are WELCOME!

Rent A Youth
The youth are going to Belize in 2012 and are participating in a Rent A Youth fundraiser. If you are interested in “hiring” one of our teens, information sheets are located in Adult Sunday School classes. Simply select the information sheet of the youth who can provide the service you need. Give them a call and set up a time for them to complete the work. Once the work is done, place a monetary donation of your choosing in a blue youth envelope marked with the name of the student and how many hours he or she worked. Turn the envelope in to the church office or place it in the offering plate.
